Bacara is a graduate of the Kansas City Art Institute. Before starting her
own business, she worked as a fashion jewelry designer and consultant for
other jewelry companies. Her bold and original designs are inspired by her
encounters with exotic cultures and customs, her ardent interest in modern
and primitive art, and her rich collection of cultural artifacts from around
the world.

and pendants of foreign origin to create one-of-kind designs. The eclectic
composition of her jewelry, with its vibrant interplay of textures and
